I didn’t let them cry it out, even when others thought I was crazy.

I fed my babies when they were hungry, not hiding away in a store bathroom.

I didn’t retreat to my bedroom to nurse when we had company.

I nursed my babies until they were ready to stop, not because someone told me it was 'time to wean.'

And yes, I still hear from family about how long I nursed my babies.

But you know what?

They were my babies, and I made decisions based on what was best for them—no regrets.

And guess what?

They’ve grown up to be confident, secure individuals, no longer nursing or co-sleeping, and thriving.

Was it easy? Absolutely not! Birth, labour, breastfeeding, and postpartum are hard work!
