Hi! I’m Lynette, your Homesteading Birth and Postpartum Doula. πŸ‘‹

I was born in Fort Frances, Ontario at La Verendrye Hospital, now known as Riverside Health Care Facility.

I am a homemaker in Northwest Ontario. I raise chickens, grow a garden, canned our veggies, have had a milk cow (made butter and cheese), help my husband during calving season, and love being outside at my clothesline. I am not afraid to get dirty, maybe sometimes even happiest in my bare feet. πŸ‘£

I love a simple life. Raising my children is my greatest joy. Growing, raising, canning, and cooking real foods gave me a sense of satisfaction I can’t describe. Now as my children are growing up, some have left our cozy little home, to start lives on their own (this is one part of my life where I am SO thankful for technology!!), I have time to try to share my love for this stage of life and help you as you start your family. πŸ‘ΆπŸ€°πŸ‘©β€β€οΈβ€πŸ‘¨

Now I am following my dream of being a birth and postpartum doula. I want to help others in their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum journey. I can help you in your search for an intentional, peaceful birth.

I believe that your body is made to have babies and I want to help you to believe in your body and your intuition. You know your body and your baby best, you are the expert. I trust you and your choices in what is best for your situation.

Being a mama to my precious babies and watching them grow and develop, teaching them has been the biggest dream come true. Now I would like to help you and your precious little ones off to a great start.πŸ©΅πŸ©·πŸ©ΆπŸ’›
